A man was arrested at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) carrying over 41 kilograms of marijuana. The individual, identified as Wong Hiu Fung, had arrived from Bangkok, Thailand, before attempting to evade authorities.

• Over 41.7 kgs of cannabis sativa were found in two suitcases he abandoned.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) apprehended Wong Hiu Fung, aged 57.
• He initially attempted a "fake phone call" trick to vanish from the customs screening zone before being traced to a hotel in Nairobi’s South C area.
