Kenya's Deputy President, Kithure Kindiki, announced that comprehensive education reforms are well underway, aiming to provide accessible, relevant, and quality education for all. He asserted that gains made over the past two decades are irreversible, with significant progress in transforming the education system.

• Kindiki stated that problematic aspects of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) are resolved, evolving into Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) with a seamless transition to senior school by January 2026.
• Infrastructure development includes 23,000 new classrooms constructed and plans for 1,600 science laboratories.
• The government aims to hire 100,000 new teachers in three years, with 76,000 already employed and an additional 24,000 by December.
• Enrollment in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions has doubled to 700,000 students by 2025, with a new Dual Training Policy for practical industry experience and a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) initiative.
• A refined Universities Funding Model ensures no qualified student misses university education due to financial constraints.
