The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) is facing allegations of unconstitutional and unfair labour practices, with a lawyer representing long-term employees claiming they endure poor working conditions and denied benefits. Despite repeated attempts to address their grievances, employees allege the company has ignored their concerns and resorted to threats and silence.

• Over 10 to 15 years of employment, some employees remain at entry-level positions due to alleged discriminatory policies.
• Morris Kimuli, the lawyer for the aggrieved employees, has been instructed to initiate legal action to compel GDC to cease what he terms "oppressive" treatment.
• Employees who have served for over a decade are now at the same entry-level grade as new graduates, allegedly losing benefits including income and allowances.
