The African Nations Championship (CHAN) Local Safety and Security Department has released a list of prohibited items for stadiums during the upcoming tournament. Fans are urged to adhere to these rules ahead of the championship, co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

• Among the banned items are noise-making devices like vuvuzelas, whistles, and drums, along with loudspeakers and megaphones.
• Animals (except service dogs), outside food (with exceptions for medical/infant needs), and powdery substances like flour are also prohibited.
• The ban extends to offensive or political banners, electronic equipment that can jam signals, all types of bottles and sealed containers, and large items such as cooler boxes or suitcases.
• Also on the red list are illegal drugs, items that could cause harm, explosives, firearms or replica guns, helmets, and fire/hazardous materials like fireworks and flammable liquids.
