The 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia promises to be "bigger, bolder and more accessible" with an expanded format, according to World Rugby chairman Brett Robinson.

• The tournament has expanded to 24 teams from the previous 20, divided into six pools of four teams.
• Approximately 2.5 million tickets will go on sale in February, with one million priced under AUD$100 (US$65).
• The tournament will run from October 1 to November 13, 2027, with Sydney scheduled to host the final and both semi-finals.
