The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has clarified that its recent directive on updating vehicle records only applies to motorists who have not yet updated their details or previously uploaded incorrect information. This comes after concerns from the public regarding a seemingly blanket directive.

• The directive, issued on July 29, aims to enhance transparency, curb fraud, and improve data accuracy.
• The Authority stated that the update process is free of charge.
• Motorists updating records need to provide the KRA entry document, original logbook, a copy of their ID, and a duty payment receipt.
