TECNO has begun rolling out a new over-the-air (OTA) update for its Camon 40 Pro 5G, featuring the latest July 2025 Android security patch and significant feature enhancements. This update focuses on improving camera capabilities, optimizing system performance, and adding smart battery and display modes.

• The update includes optimizations for 2X video zoom, an Outdoor Booster Mode for enhanced outdoor screen visibility, and a new Biorhythm Eye Care Mode.
• TECNO has also refined battery optimization, smoothed animations, and upgraded privacy tools like App Twin and App Lock.
• The update is currently exclusive to the Camon 40 Pro 5G, with other models in the Camon 40 series expected to receive it in subsequent stages.
