Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested a Cameroonian man in Nairobi, believed to be the mastermind behind a sophisticated fake gold scam that defrauded a Canadian investor of Ksh79.9 million (USD 618,000). The victim was lured to Kenya under the false pretense of buying 250 kilograms of gold.
