The Democratic Action Party (DAP-K) is facing internal turmoil, with petitions submitted to remove prominent leaders, including Deputy Party Leader George Natembeya and Party Leader Eugene Wamalwa, due to emerging rival factions.

DAP-K's Secretary General Dr. Eseli Simiyu confirmed the receipt of petitions against the party leadership.
The disputes, stemming from a liberal faction led by Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya and a conservative wing led by Eugene Wamalwa, will be referred to the party's Internal Disputes Resolution Committee.
Eugene Wamalwa assured members that the party remains strong, stating, "Msiwe na wasiwasi chama iko imara."
