President William Ruto has pledged significant monetary rewards to the Harambee Stars, Kenya’s men’s national football team, for their performance in the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

• Ksh600 million promised if the team wins the CHAN tournament.
• President William Ruto made the promise during a visit to the team’s camp on Saturday, August 2.
• Individual players will receive Ksh1 million for every win and Ksh500,000 for every draw; additional team bonuses include Ksh60 million for reaching the quarterfinals and Ksh70 million for the semifinals.
