The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the officiating team for the highly anticipated CHAN 2024 Group A opener between hosts Kenya and DR Congo at Kasarani Stadium on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

• The match will be officiated by centre referee Jelly Alfred Chavani from South Africa.

• Supporting Chavani will be assistant referees Soulaimane Amaldine from Comoros and Joel Wonka Doe from Liberia.

• The fourth official is Patrice Milazar from Mauritius, while VAR duties will be handled by Dahane Beida of Mauritania and Maria Packuita Cynquela Rivet from Mauritius.
