✨ Key Highlights
The Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM) has announced new directives for Hajj pilgrims, warning against the use of unauthorized brokers and unregistered travel agencies. Going forward, SUPKEM will be the sole body responsible for coordinating all travel logistics for Kenyan Muslims embarking on the pilgrimage to Mecca.
- SUPKEM Chairperson Hassan Ole Naado stated that a code of conduct will be implemented, and any unauthorized individuals or agencies will not be allowed to operate.

- SUPKEM has already suspended seven agencies for flouting Hajj travel regulations.
- A list of certified and approved travel agents will be published in local dailies and displayed in mosques after a verification process.
