The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a 30-day traffic disruption on a section of the Kisumu Boys-Mamboleo (A1) Road in Kisumu to facilitate construction and improvement works.

• The closure will occur between Thursday, August 7, 2025, and Friday, September 5, 2025.
• The affected section is from the Kondele Roundabout to the Mamboleo Roundabout.
• Traffic will be maintained by diverting vehicles to one side of the dual carriageway.
• KeNHA also recently began rehabilitation work on the crucial Kisumu-Busia highway, part of the Northern Corridor.
