• Uhuru Kenyatta recently regained full control of the Jubilee Party after a High Court ruling in September 2024 and a gazette notice in June 2025 affirmed his and his team's legitimate leadership against a rival faction.
• The NEC meeting, described by Deputy Secretary General Pauline Njoroge as a "crucial meeting," focused on reviewing party affairs and charting a strategic path for the 2027 General Election.
