A court in Kabarnet has halted the relocation of Moi Teachers College, a move intended to clear space for the new Kabarnet University as directed by President William Ruto. The conservatory orders were issued on Wednesday, August 6, citing a lack of proper consultation with stakeholders.

• The Ministry of Education intended to relocate the college to establish Kabarnet University, which Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba gazetted earlier this year.
