President William Ruto has donated Ksh1 million to the family of the late Ambassador Bob Francis Jalang'o Nyanduga. The donation was delivered by Deputy Chief of Staff Eliud Owalo on Thursday, August 7, at their home in Rakombe Village, Asembo.

• The late Ambassador Jalang’o passed away on July 17 at the age of 80, after a distinguished career as a diplomat and former Member of Parliament for Rarieda Constituency.
• This donation is part of a pattern of monetary support from President Ruto to bereaved families in 2025.
• Other notable donations this year include Ksh2 million to the family of late blogger Albert Ojwang' (June 16), Ksh1 million to the family of late mask vendor Boniface Kariuki (July 2), and Ksh1 million to the family of comedian Zachariah Kariuki (July 21).
