Cop Shakur (Jackson Kihara) and former KDF soldier Patrick Osoi have been released on a Ksh50,000 cash bail after being charged with suspected terrorism offenses. The two, along with police constable Hiram Kimathi, were released from police custody following a ruling by Magistrate Richard Koech at the Kahawa Law Courts.

• Jackson Kihara, known as Cop Shakur, and Patrick Osoi were granted release on a cash bail of Ksh50,000 each.
• The individuals were linked to the Fighting Brutality and Impunity (FBI) group.
• Their release was ordered by Magistrate Richard Koech at the Kahawa Law Courts on Friday, August 8.
• The defense was led by Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino.
