Kwale County Governor Fatuma Achani recently hosted Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports, Salim Mvurya, at a Women and Youth Empowerment Program in Kinango Sub-County, aimed at boosting economic participation.

• Kwale County has registered 300 companies owned by women, youth, and people with disabilities, with 150 having secured tenders.
• CS Mvurya represented President William Ruto and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive development in marginalized regions.
• This program follows a recent fundraiser for women's groups by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula in Matuga and Msambweni Sub-counties.
