President William Ruto has pledged significant financial incentives to the Harambee Stars, promising Ksh2.5 million to each player for a victory against Zambia in their final group A game of the African Nations Championships (CHAN 2024). This follows their impressive 1-0 win over Morocco.

• Each player will receive Ksh1 million and an affordable housing unit if they win the CHAN 2024 quarter-final.
• President Ruto met the team at the Pullman Hotel, Upper Hill, Nairobi on Monday, August 11.
