The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (Epra) has announced a marginal drop in fuel prices in its latest review, with super petrol and kerosene decreasing by Sh1 per litre. This reduction follows a less than one per cent decrease in the landing cost of super petrol.
- Super petrol and kerosene prices were cut by Sh1.00/litre, while diesel prices remain unchanged.
- The maximum price for a litre of petrol in Nairobi will be Sh185.31.
- The average landed cost of imported super petrol decreased by 0.73 per cent from $628.30 per cubic metre in June 2025 to $623.71 per cubic metre in July 2025.
- This marginal decrease comes after Epra increased fuel prices significantly in July, with petrol rising by Sh8.99.
