Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Kenya Police Service (KPS), Eliud Lagat, made surprise visits to Mwingi and Matuu Police Stations on Thursday, August 14, to assess working conditions and engage with officers. This comes shortly after he returned to duty following an investigation into the death of a social media influencer in police custody.
