The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) announced a two-month traffic disruption impacting Waiyaki Way, Limuru Road, and Mai Mahiu Road due to the temporary closure of the Rironi/Kamandura Interchange for reconstruction.

• The closure is effective from Friday, August 22, 2025, to Friday, October 31, 2025.
• KeNHA advises motorists to use alternative routes such as the Old Naivasha Road or connect via Mutarakwa Junction to Limuru Road.
• Police officers and traffic marshals will be deployed to manage traffic flow during the closure.
• This development coincides with other road maintenance projects by KeNHA, including a temporary closure of the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway section from August 23, 2025, to September 7, 2025.
