• Felix Isaac Olwero was reportedly shot by police around 1 am outside his Whitehouse Resort, after officers responded to a distress call about an attempted break-in.
• Police reported that an officer fatally shot a man wielding a machete, who was later identified as Olwero.
• Governor Orengo condemned the incident, stating, “No life should ever be cut short in such a senseless manner,” and demanded investigations to ensure justice.
