Following the conclusion of the group stages on Tuesday, August 19, eight teams remain in contention, including all host nations.

• Kenya's Harambee Stars will face Madagascar on Friday, August 22, at Kasarani Stadium in their quarter-final match.
• Should Kenya win, they will play either Algeria or Sudan in the semi-final, with no semi-final matches being held in Kenya.
• Tanzania's Taifa Stars are in a separate pool and will play Morocco, with a potential semi-final against Uganda or Senegal.
