The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) has shut down eight unlicensed courier service companies in Nairobi's Eastleigh area during a raid conducted in collaboration with the National Police Service (NPS). Several arrests were made, with suspects awaiting arraignment at the Makadara Law Courts.

• 8 unlicensed courier companies were shut down, found to be operating contrary to Section 67 of the Kenya Information and Communications Act, 1998.
• The main organization involved is the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), in partnership with the National Police Service (NPS).
• The crackdown follows a previous announcement two months prior, where the CA planned to revoke the licenses of 13 other courier operators in Nairobi.
