The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has indefinitely postponed its Busia County delegates elections, originally scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2025. This announcement follows a recent partywide communication regarding delegate elections in 43 counties.

• The postponement was confirmed by National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC) chairperson Emily Awita.
• Busia County elections were part of a larger schedule for 43 counties, excluding Nairobi, Migori, Homa Bay, and Kisumu, set for August 25, 2025.
• Application fees for delegate positions range from Ksh1000 for non-executive roles to Ksh10,000 for the chairperson position.
