The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved an increase to 80 per cent stadium capacity for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) game between Harambee Stars and Madagascar at the Moi International Sports Complex, Kasarani. This means approximately 38,400 fans can attend, a significant rise from the previous 27,000.

• CAF increased stadium capacity from previous 60 per cent sanction.
• The decision followed an appeal by Football Kenya Federation (FKF), supported by Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya.
• The previous 60 per cent restriction was imposed after incidents during the Kenya vs Morocco match on Sunday, August 10.
• For the Madagascar game, fan zones in Nairobi have been increased to 13, with community leaders ensuring order.
