Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) Kenya has reported a significant 9.9% increase in profit after tax for the first half of 2024, reaching Sh4.77 billion. This growth is primarily attributed to a rise in net interest income, despite a lower interest rate environment.

• The bank's net profit for the half-year to June 2024 was Sh4.77 billion, up from Sh4.34 billion in the same period last year.
