Dalmas Odero has been re-elected for a second three-year term as the National Chairman of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), the statutory body regulating HR practice in Kenya.

• Odero first took office in July 2022.
• His re-election includes a reform agenda focused on professionalism, membership welfare, advocacy, and execution.
• Key priorities include strengthening ethics, certification, and capacity to address challenges like AI and hybrid work, as well as lobbying for amendments to the HRMP Act.
• The IHRM has over 20,000 registered members, with about 7,000 active.
• Kuresha Abdullahi, Executive Director, reaffirmed that HR practice in Kenya is regulated by law.
