BLUETTI, a clean energy innovator, partnered with UN-Habitat through its Lighting an African Family (LAAF) initiative to provide sustainable solar energy access to over 2,000 residents in Kisumu and Nairobi Counties, Kenya, this week. This project, which saw the donation of 500 solar lighting and energy storage systems, is a step towards promoting energy equity and supporting community resilience across Africa.

• BLUETTI donated a total of 500 sets of its E60 solar lighting and energy storage systems, directly benefiting more than 2,000 residents.
• The partnership stems from a Technology Transfer MOU signed at the 12th World Urban Forum (WUF12) in Cairo last year between BLUETTI and UN-Habitat.
• The rollout took place from August 18 to 22 in Muhoroni, Kisumu County, and the Ex-Grogon and Mathare areas in Nairobi County.
