Kenya achieved significant success at the 2025 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association games in Kakamega, securing numerous medals as the event concluded. Kenyan teams triumphed across various sports, reclaiming championships in volleyball and ending a six-year wait for regional handball titles.

• Cheptil High School and Kwanthanze Secondary School won the volleyball championships, with Cheptil securing their fourth East Africa gong.
• St Luke’s Kimilili and Moi Girls Kamusinga recaptured the handball titles; Kimilili narrowly beat Rwanda’s Adegi 31-30, and Moi Girls Kamusinga defeated Uganda’s Mbogo High School 26-25.
• Coach Fernweck Opicho of Kimilili celebrated their victory, highlighting years of dedication paying off.
• Highway Secondary School and St Joseph’s Girls High School Kitale earned bronze medals in their respective third-place play-offs.
