The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has received 30 drug test kits and 30 precursor test kits from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Nairobi Office, to enhance Kenya's efforts against drug abuse and trafficking.

• Each kit has the capacity to conduct up to 500 tests, significantly boosting the detection capabilities of enforcement and laboratory teams.
• NACADA CEO Dr. Anthony Omerikwa stated the equipment would strengthen law enforcement and prevention.
• The donation supports the ongoing 100-day Rapid Results Initiative targeting illicit alcohol and drugs and aligns with the recently launched National Alcohol Policy 2025.
