President William Ruto is scheduled to present Prince Rahim Aga Khan V with the Order of the Golden Heart following discussions at State House Nairobi. This visit aims to fortify current and future collaborations between Kenya and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).

• Prince Rahim Aga Khan V received the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (C.G.H.), while Princess Zahra Aga Khan received the Elder of the Order of the Golden Heart (E.G.H.).
• Prince Rahim is the 50th hereditary spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslims.
• This marks Prince Rahim's first formal visit to Kenya since succeeding his late father, His Highness Prince Karim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV, who passed away in February 2025 at the age of 88.
