President William Ruto urges the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) to invest in Kenya's Affordable Housing Programme and the Nairobi River Regeneration initiative. The call came during a meeting at State House, Nairobi, where Ruto hosted His Highness Prince Rahim Al-Husseini Aga Khan V.

• Ruto emphasized that private sector participation is crucial for bridging the housing deficit and stimulating industries, with the housing program aiming to provide dignified shelter and create thousands of jobs.
• His Highness Prince Rahim Al-Husseini Aga Khan V, the 50th Hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and Chair of AKDN, was conferred Kenya's highest civilian honour— the Chief of the Order of the Golden Heart (C.G.H)—in recognition of Aga Khan's contributions to development in health, education, and media.
• The Nairobi River Regeneration initiative, part of the Climate WorkX programme, has already engaged 40,000 Kenyans.
