Cadillac announced that veteran drivers Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will drive for their new Formula One team in the 2026 season, marking their return to the grid as the 11th team.

• Perez, former Red Bull driver, has won six grands prix, while Bottas, formerly with Mercedes, has 10 career victories.
• Mark Reuss, president of GM (Cadillac’s parent company), stated the decision was based on the drivers' experience and winning record, calling them a "really good winning combination."
• The US team, backed by TWG Motorsports and GM, will initially use Ferrari engines but plans to build its own in the future.
