Speaking on Citizen TV, Gachagua claimed that President Ruto lacks the moral authority to address corruption, as he is actively involved in paying Members of Parliament and Senators for their legislative support, effectively making State House a "crime scene."

• Gachagua alleged that Members of Parliament received Ksh.200,000 each to support the controversial 2024 Finance Bill, and Ksh.500,000 for voting for his impeachment, while Senators were offered up to Ksh.10 million apiece.
• The former Deputy President accused President Ruto of keeping files on lawmakers who accept money to blackmail them, ensuring their continued political loyalty.
• Gachagua further claimed that state agencies like the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are used to intimidate legislators who resist bribery.
