Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki is facing impeachment calls from Universal Healthcare Workers after opposing the Ministry of Health's plan to absorb them onto permanent and pensionable terms. The workers deem his statements "insensitive and misleading" and are demanding an apology, threatening demonstrations until he retracts his remarks.
