Radio Citizen's Edwin Obuya and Citizen TV's Emmanuel Too were elected unopposed as Secretary General and Organizing Secretary, respectively, in the recent Kenya Parliamentary Journalists Association (KPJA) elections. These elections, held on Wednesday, saw other key positions contested, with new officials set to serve a two-year term.

• Moses Ogada of The Star newspaper secured the presidency with 34 votes, defeating David Mwere of Daily Nation who garnered 14 votes.
• Irene Mwangi of Capital FM won the Vice Chairperson race, while Elizabeth Mutuku of TV47 became the Treasurer.
• The newly elected officials will serve until 2027, representing journalists covering Kenya's bicameral Parliament.
