Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has reassured parents about the smooth transition of Grade Nine learners to senior secondary school next year, emphasizing the ministry's efforts to address infrastructure gaps. These assurances were made during the 6th Biennial Education Evidence for Action (EE4A) conference at Embu University.

• The government has released school capitation funds and 11 education-related Bills are before the Cabinet for amendments to streamline the education system.
• CS Ogamba highlighted the need for continuous teacher training, noting that the country will require an additional 35,000 teachers annually.
• Ksh.9.4 billion has been allocated to the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and Ksh.17 billion to the new funding model for student financing.
