New leaders have been unveiled for the Kenya Parliamentary Journalists Association (KPJA) following contested elections on Wednesday, August 27. Radio Africa Group's senior political reporter, Moses Odhiambo, was elected chair, while Citizen TV's political reporter Emmanuel Too became Organising Secretary.
- Moses Odhiambo secured the chairmanship with 34 votes, defeating Daily Nation's David Mwere who received 14 votes.
- Radio Citizen's Edwin Obuya was elected secretary general unopposed, having garnered the most votes early on.
