A witness testified in a Kangundo court about how he unknowingly helped a suspect launder money stolen in a violent carjacking. The case involves the robbery of retired chief physiotherapist Titus Muteti Kilika on April 29, 2024, where cash and valuables worth Ksh1.5 million were stolen.

• Augustine Muoki, a contractor, testified how Duncan Wambua Kimeu, a suspect in the carjacking, tricked him into helping withdraw Ksh300,000 at a Nairobi casino on April 30, 2024.
• The victim, Titus Muteti Kilika, lost a Samsung mobile phone, ID, and ATM cards, along with Ksh1.5 million in cash during the carjacking at Kambai Junction, Machakos County.
• Four suspects, including Duncan Wambua Kimeu, Dennis Ndolo Mutunga, Wambua Kinyili Mutunga, and Charles Mutinda Margaret, have been arrested and remain in custody. The case will be mentioned again on October 28, 2025.
