Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi has strongly opposed Siaya Governor James Orengo over an alleged plan to close Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) Siaya Campus. Atandi claims the county government intends to reclaim land at the Siaya Agricultural Training Center (ATC) for new county headquarters, potentially displacing over 1,200 students.
