Former Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati appeared before the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) in Nairobi on Monday, September 1, 2025, to face charges of embezzling public funds during his tenure. He is accused of illegally acquiring over Ksh.70 million through corrupt tenders.
