A Nakuru fisherman, Brian Odhiambo, who went missing in January was last seen lying unconscious in a Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) vehicle, a court heard on Monday.

• A protected witness testified that Odhiambo appeared unresponsive and almost naked, wearing only sports shorts, when KWS rangers quickly drove off with him.
• Six KWS rangers are facing charges over Odhiambo’s alleged abduction.
• Another witness, Alex Maina, corroborated the account, stating he saw rangers beat Odhiambo and load him into their vehicle.
