A suspect was arrested in Kirinyaga County on Tuesday for possessing contraband cigarettes, following a raid by a multi-agency team.

• 94 cartons of Supermatch cigarettes and 89,000 bundles of polythene bags were recovered.
• The National Police Service (NPS) conducted the raid after a public tip-off.
• The NPS reiterated its commitment to combating the sale of contraband items nationwide.
