Residents in Busia County, particularly border communities, have been advised to resume wearing face masks as Kenya launches a 10-day Mpox vaccination campaign targeting high-risk populations amid rising cases in cross-border zones. The campaign primarily targets youths, long-distance drivers, and health officials.

• Busia County currently has 68 Mpox cases and two fatalities.
