- Machakos sub-county Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss, Nzioka Singi, confirmed the discovery of numerous charms and photographs during a raid on Nthiwa's operating room.
- Makau, initially apprehended performing rituals near a water tank, named Nthiwa as his source for witchcraft items and was later released after being found innocent.
