The family of Kenyan police officer Corporal Kennedy Nzuve has shared details of their last conversation, just days before his death in Haiti. Nzuve, part of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSSM), died in a road accident involving two armored vehicles.

• Corporal Kennedy Nzuve was killed on August 31, 2025 in a road accident in Haiti.
• His mother, Serah Ndunge, spoke with him on Friday, August 29, when he expressed satisfaction with his posting.
• The accident occurred along the Kenscoff–Pétion-Ville road at Perlerin 9 during a recovery operation.
• Two MaxxPro vehicles were involved, resulting in two fatalities and eight MSS officers injured.
• The family has appealed to the Kenyan government for assistance in repatriating Nzuve's body and facilitating his burial.
