The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has warned Israel that annexing the occupied West Bank would be a "red line" that jeopardizes the normalisation of relations established by the Abraham Accords.

• Approximately four-fifths of the West Bank is proposed for annexation by Israel's far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
• Lana Nusseibeh, a senior Emirati official, stated that such a move would signal the "death knell" for the two-state solution.
• Since 1967, Israel has constructed about 160 settlements housing 700,000 Jews in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, land which is desired by Palestinians for a future state.
