Two prominent firms listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange, Liberty Kenya Holdings PLC and TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya PLC, have announced changes to their board leadership, with new chairpersons commencing their roles in September 2025.

• Richard Etemesi has been appointed as the new chairperson for Liberty Kenya Holdings PLC, succeeding long-serving chairman Philip Odera who retires after nine years on the board.
• At TotalEnergies Marketing Kenya PLC, Biova Agbokou will take over as chairperson, replacing Elodie Luce.
• Etemesi is a career banker with over three decades of international experience, while Agbokou is an engineer and strategist who has held senior roles within the TotalEnergies group globally.
